Ore is produced at an average Fe content of 66,2 % Fe for the two coarser pro= ducts and an average of 65,3 % Fe for the fine ore product.
Results showed that heavy media separation is an effective method for coal ash-reduction and desulfurization. In terms of coal sample mentioned in the article, the desulphurization ratio and the deash ratio could be reached 63.54% and 72.33% in clean coal. This is consistent with the change of peaks intensity of minerals in infrared spectrum.
